Subsea controls engineering specialists J+S Subsea has successfully renewed its ISO certifications in management systems in quality, environmental and occupational health & safety.
Having passed a five-day renewal and migration audit by a UKAS accredited certification body, the company is now certified to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018.
Managing director Phil Reid said: “Our certificate renewal by Lloyd’s Register shows the ongoing commitment to the highest standards of quality and environmental performance, along with the highest standards of occupational health & safety performance through the new ISO 45001:2018 certificate.”
Meanwhile Ellon-based HSEQ specialist Quensh Specialists has provided J+S Subsea with a brand-new business management system. J+S Subsea’s relationship with Quensh Specialists Ltd has allowed the companies to work together to ensure that the Business Management System has been developed in a manner that is truly fit for purpose Business Management System but is also scalable. This collaborative approach has also allowed the Business Management System and ISO requirements to be fully embedded into J+S Subsea, so that management and staff see the value and reap the rewards that certification to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 can bring.
The new system was specifically designed for J+S Subsea to maintain certification to the ISO standards, whilst providing a platform for growth.
