J+S Subsea is strengthening its presence in Australia and the wider Asia-Pacific (APAC) region through a new partnership with Perth-based Pulse Technology Hub.
The partnership brings together J+S Subsea’s subsea controls, engineering and life extension capability with Pulse Technology Hub’s local market knowledge, experienced team, industry relationships and in-country facilities.
The move follows six months of collaborative strategic market research and builds on J+S Subsea’s previous experience in Australia, creating a platform to develop further opportunities across the region.
Supporting late-life subsea assets in Australia
Initial market analysis has highlighted opportunities around late-life assets and ageing subsea infrastructure, where access to local support can help improve responsiveness and turnaround times for operators.
The partnership will enable J+S Subsea to combine its existing engineering expertise with an established presence in Perth, providing greater access to local knowledge, facilities and support as the company develops its activities in Australia and the wider APAC market.
It also creates further opportunities to apply the principles behind J+S Subsea’s Legacy Locker™ service in the region.
Legacy Locker™ provides reuse options for existing subsea equipment, including the recovery of equipment otherwise identified for disposal. Components can be inspected, refurbished and re-certified where appropriate, helping clients access legacy equipment while supporting reuse, repurposing and the circular economy.

Combining subsea expertise with local support
Pulse Technology Hub works with international technology and service providers looking to establish and grow their presence within the Australian energy and resources sector.
The Perth-based team provides market insight, business development support, local facilities and access to an established industry network, complementing J+S Subsea’s technical capability and experience in subsea controls and engineering.
