Gillian is a passionate advocate for energy communities in the Aberdeen area and we were pleased to show how J+S Subsea is playing its part in making oil and gas production cleaner and more efficient, whilst using our expertise and heritage in that sector to seize new opportunities in the rapidly growing renewables space.
Re-using, re-purposing and re-designing subsea equipment not only saves time and resources for our clients but contributes to the circular economy and helps reduce the sector’s emissions footprint during the energy transition.
We also discussed the importance of bringing in new talent and skills to the industry and our excitement about supporting, training, and employing the next generation of energy engineers in the Northeast.
We look forward to working with Gillian in the years ahead. Thanks to OEUK for helping us facilitate this visit.
